What: To learn proper use of crayons, scissors and glue.
What: By coloring inside the lines, rotating paper to cut and use the minimum amount of glue.

Procedures
Day 1
Read the story “Oh-No! Or how my science project destroyed the planet.”
Demonstrate rough cut by cutting around desired shape.
Do rough cut and place in envelope for next class.
Day 2
Demonstrate proper coloring techniques.
Have student color their machine parts.
Day 3
Demonstrate “exact cut.” Show how to rotate paper instead of scissors for round objects. Show how to create relief cuts on gears.
Demonstrate proper gluing technique.
Student will do the exact cut and glue collage together.
(May take more than one day.)
Take more time with proper cutting and gluing. Students got very excited and started rushing.
